Warm Winter Wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House | Raleigh, NC | Harper and Ben
The last wedding of the year, much like the first wedding of the year, really sets a tone. But unlike the first wedding of the year, the last one has multiple other weddings to fight over in my head. I've heard great speeches, seen beautiful first dances, laughed with some awesome families, shot in some exciting venues, witnessed first kisses that could make your knees weak and like Anthony Bourdain I'm always " hungry for more."
Having had the chance to spend a lot of time with Ben and Harper enjoying good beers, exploring Wilmington, Harper's unforgettable bridal portrait session and eating some awesome (albeit spicy) food at Jose and Sons, I knew their wedding was going to be something special, something to think back on and enjoy as I entered the wedding offseason.
It was beyond what I could have imagined.
From their beautiful and classic ceremony at Edenton Street United Methodist Church to their awesome and unforgettable reception at the Merrimon-Wynne - this truly was the wedding that was the exclamation point on what was such a fun and busy year for me.
I've written about this before, but there is something special about weddings and witnessing peoples inner circles. Even more so, it's an honor when my couples become my friends and I get to continue to share in their story, so thank you to Harper and Ben for that honor. I'm looking forward to some good meals, some good stories and maybe even a few more photos between here and there.
