To say that I was excited about Elena and Nelson’s Charles Krug winery wedding would be an understatement. Getting to travel for any work is a lot of fun and a huge honor, but I lived in San Diego for ten years and never got north of San Francisco. I would often mention to people when talking about our time in southern California that we never made it to Yosemite, or the Redwoods, or even to Napa. And so to finally check that box was exciting.

Wedding days are supposed to be memorable, but they are memorable because what they encapsulate is the couple exchanging vows that day. Every part of that day should say something about them. Jed and Josh's day does exactly that in their intimate Oregon destination wedding. Come see more!

I feel honored to photograph every wedding that I am at, but this was something special. Having that bit of history with Stephanie made that day and that ceremony that much more special to me. To see her and Andrew make each other laugh. To see them play with their little boy and the love they share for him. To see their first dance. And to see them spend time with their family and friends. It was awesome.
